Over the weekend, I wrote to the three senators that are the hold outs on Bill S-223. To win the vote, one of them has to change their mind and heart to vote yes. They are:
If this program we in place think of the savings in administrative expenditure. Other programs like disability, GIS, family benefits etc could all be rolled into this one program.
It was unfair that the Ontario government discontinued the pilot program.
This BI program needs to be in place and now is the time.
